Delicious food and games to entertain at Mary Hare's summer fete

Wednesday 7th July 2010

KiriLynn Gardner organised a fete with helpers on the day from the PTA on the last Sunday of the summer term which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. The event was particularly enjoyed by those students who got the opportunity to throw wet sponges at brave members of staff and students. There was plenty to keep everyone entertained with a huge selection of stalls at which to try out yours skills, your luck or buy delicious food.

The fete was so successful that the organisers hope to make it a bigger event next year and combine it with a car boot sale. Over £700 profit was made which will be split between The Murray House Appeal and the Youth Club.

A big thank you to everyone who helped!
