Special guest for the afternoon at the Mary Hare annual Sports Day was
Mr Hughie Morrison a local racehorse trainer who is very well known in the industry - his best known horses are:  Sakhee's Scret, Alcazar and Pastoral Pursuits.  Mr Morrison , who currently trains eighty race horses at his stables in East Ilsley had fifty winners last season.

Mr Morrison praised the stamina of the runners in the 1,500 metres races and commented that there had been several excellent sprinters but that it was always harder to train a runner with staying power!

Sports Day trophy winners and House Competitiona winners overall were Braidwood House and individual winners on the gloriously sunny afternoon were:

Senior Victrix Ludorum - Rebecca
Senior Victor Ludorum - Andrew & Jacob
